What should I do if I have gum growth with braces?

Gum enlargement due to braces can appear to recede once some orthodontic treatment is completed, so there is no need to worry too much about it. However, it is important to maintain good oral hygiene during orthodontic treatment to avoid or reduce and slow down gum enlargement. If the gingival growth persists for a long time after removal of the aligner, affecting the local aesthetics or the patient’s normal life, it can also be restored to normal by means of gum removal.
This can be done by traditional surgery, or by laser or electric knife, and the gum area can recover more quickly after the procedure.
