For gum enlargement in pregnant women, the first step is to clean your own mouth, brush your teeth properly, and use tools such as dental floss and toothbrushes. If gingival hyperplasia is accompanied by significant inflammation, rinse the gum pockets with 3% hydrogen peroxide or saline at the hospital and rinse your mouth regularly.
Surgery should usually be avoided in early and late pregnancy, or if the gum tumor is very large, it can be removed in the 4th to 6th month of pregnancy with a doctor’s evaluation.
