Precautions for the use of prednisone tablets

  Prednisone Acetate Tablets, is a white tablet.  Prednisone tablets are mainly used for allergic and autoimmune inflammatory diseases. It is indicated for allergic diseases such as connective tissue disease, systemic lupus erythematosus, severe bronchial asthma, and vasculitis. Prednisone Tablets are contraindicated in patients with a history of allergy to prednisone tablets as well as adrenocorticosteroids.  Pay attention to the following aspects: First, Prednisone Tablets should be used with caution in patients with tuberculosis, acute bacterial or viral infections. If prednisone tablets are to be used, give appropriate anti-infective treatment, which is the first precaution in the use of prednisone tablets. Rule out tuberculosis first!  Second, if you take prednisone tablets for a long time, you cannot stop the drug directly, and you should gradually reduce the dosage before stopping it.  Thirdly, Prednisone Tablets should be used with caution in patients with diabetes, osteoporosis, cirrhosis, renal dysfunction, and low thyroid function.  Fourth, prednisone tablets should be used with caution in people with bacterial, fungal, or viral infections while applying adequate amounts of sensitive antibiotics. Elevated white blood cells and neutrophils after using this drug will be easily mistaken for bacterial infections and should be noted.  Fifth, children and the elderly should use Prednisone Tablets under the guidance of a doctor. The use of Prednisone Tablets is prohibited for pregnant women and women who are breastfeeding.
