Usually the wound heals in 5-7 days after vestibulostomy surgery and is able to heal. If the cyst is already showing signs of co-infection at the time of surgery, it should be treated with antibiotics for a few more days after surgery and local cleanliness should be maintained. Vestibular gland cysts are mainly caused by inflammation of the vulva or vagina, resulting in local obstruction of the glandular ducts, which prevents the timely discharge of vestibular fluid and causes cysts to accumulate inside. If the cysts are small, they can be treated conservatively by keeping the area clean and reviewing them regularly. If the cyst is large, you can have a stoma surgery, which usually takes 5-7 days to heal.
