How to do hemangioma surgery

For hemangioma surgery, angiographic marking is required to fully estimate the extent of the lesion before surgical resection. It is not easy to judge the scope of hemangioma lesion, so before surgery, angiography can be done to know the scope of hemangioma in detail, mark it well and design a good surgical plan. Anesthesia should be done well before surgery, according to the surgical scope marked before surgery, incise the skin to find the hemangioma, separate and excise the hemangioma, pay attention to the blood supply of the limb governed by the hemangioma, and consider the reconstruction of the blood vessel if the limb survival may be affected after the excision. Currently, the preferred treatment for hemangioma is sclerotherapy, which is performed under color ultrasound to locate the hemangioma, and puncture to inject sclerosing agent into the hemangioma in order to reduce the blood perfusion of the hemangioma. Due to the high recurrence of hemangiomas, surgical resection also has a high recurrence, unless the hemangioma is huge, or affects other tissues and organs, open resection is not preferred. It is recommended to consult a doctor in time and follow the doctor’s instructions for standardized treatment.
