What not to eat with high total bile acids

High total bile acids are closely associated with many digestive system diseases, especially with hepatobiliary diseases, commonly acute hepatitis, moderate chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis, fatty liver, liver cancer and toxic liver disease. Bile acid is the end product of cholesterol decomposition and metabolism in the liver, and is closely related to the absorption, metabolism and regulation of cholesterol. Therefore, if a patient eats more fatty foods and has high cholesterol in the body, it may lead to persistently high total serum bile acid levels. Therefore, once the patient detects an increased level of total bile acids, not only do they need active treatment, but they should also pay attention to the following dietary contraindications: 1. Avoid eating high-fat foods, such as fatty meat, butter, animal offal, cakes, chocolate, egg yolk, fish eggs, etc. They should also avoid fried and fast food, including pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, fried chicken, etc.; 2. Protein intake, especially animal protein, to avoid causing hepatic encephalopathy; 3, avoid eating spicy and stimulating food, such as barbecue, hot pot, etc. 4.Eat more vitamin-rich foods, such as apples, kiwi, grapefruit, citrus, etc. In addition, for patients with significantly elevated levels, in addition to the need to pay attention to diet, oral drug therapy should be considered.
