At present, the epidemiological information about the novel coronavirus is not perfect, and according to the analysis of cases discharged from hospitals so far, there have been no patients with recurrence. Nowadays, hospitals around the world are more stringent in testing discharged patients, and they must be discharged from isolation only after their body temperature has returned to normal for more than three days, their respiratory symptoms have significantly improved, and they have had two consecutive negative respiratory pathogen nucleic acid tests (at least one day between sampling times). However, after all, this disease is an emerging disease, and further epidemiological findings are needed to determine whether patients will experience recurrence after recovery and whether patients will be reinfected.
