Vaginal bleeding after sexual intercourse is often caused by the following reasons: 1) inflammation of the vaginal mucosa, which leads to brittle vaginal tissues, and friction after intercourse, which causes the vaginal mucosa to break and bleed; 2) cervical bleeding, which can occur after sexual intercourse due to cervical polyps, chronic inflammation of the cervix, or precancerous lesions of the cervix; 3) in the case of submucosal fibroids. When the fibroid is prolapsed at the cervical opening, it will also cause vaginal bleeding after contact. Therefore, if vaginal bleeding occurs after intercourse, a detailed gynecological examination must be done to find the specific location of the bleeding and then give the corresponding examination.
