Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases have risen to be the first cause of death in China. With the rapid development of China’s economy, the improvement of people’s living standard, the change of lifestyle and the aging of the population, the risk factors of cerebrovascular diseases such as hypertension, diabetes and hyperlipidemia are increasing. The morbidity and mortality of cerebrovascular diseases are on the rise, seriously endangering the health and lives of middle and elderly people. Cerebrovascular disease is a group of diseases caused by the rupture and bleeding of cerebral blood vessels or thrombosis, with symptoms of hemorrhagic or ischemic damage to the brain as the main clinical manifestation, also known as cerebrovascular accidents or strokes, commonly known as stroke. According to its course, cerebrovascular disease can be divided into two types: acute cerebrovascular disease and chronic cerebrovascular disease. What we usually call cerebrovascular disease generally refers to acute cerebrovascular disease. Cerebrovascular disease is usually divided into two categories: ischemic cerebrovascular disease and hemorrhagic cerebrovascular disease. Ischemic cerebrovascular disease includes: transient ischemic attack, cerebral infarction, cerebral embolism. Hemorrhagic cerebrovascular disease includes: cerebral hemorrhage, subarachnoid hemorrhage.
