Cervical precancer grade 2 is not cervical cancer. Cervical precancer grade 2, also known as moderate cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, falls under the category of high grade cervical intraepithelial neoplasia. If the pathological diagnosis reaches high grade grade 2, cervical conization is required. Depending on the pathology of the tissue after cervical conization, the next treatment plan will be decided, whether to continue follow-up or to do further extensive surgery. Therefore, the range of precancerous lesions includes grade 1, grade 2 and grade 3, and above grade 2 is called high-grade lesions, but all these grades are precancerous lesions and have not reached the level of cervical cancer, so they need active intervention and control to see the follow-up effect before deciding the next treatment.
