How to determine if thrush

Thrush, also known as ciguatera and albicans, is most commonly seen in infants during the first year of life. It is mainly caused by Candida albicans infection, which can form a white patchy film on the surface of the oral mucosa and can generally develop when the infant is malnourished or has a low body resistance. The disease is generally based on the transmission channel, clinical manifestations and auxiliary examination can be clearly diagnosed. If the mother is infected with mycobacteria in the vagina, the infant may develop thrush if he or she is exposed to maternal secretions through the birth canal, or if he or she is exposed to food, clothing or toys infected with Candida. 2. Judgment based on clinical manifestations The mucous membrane of the buccal cavity, tongue, soft palate and mouth and lips may appear as a milky white, slightly elevated patch, resembling a milk lump, painless and not easily wiped off with cotton swabs or wet gauze, which mostly indicates thrush. 3. Judgment according to auxiliary examination Clinically, the white spots can be gently scraped off and sent to the laboratory for testing, through which the type of yeast can be determined, and at the same time, it is convenient for the doctor to give the baby more accurate medication treatment. At present, children with thrush can be treated with medication, using mycoplasma, applied to the wound 3-4 times a day, along with vitamin B and vitamin C. In severe cases, oral medication such as mycoplasma is required. If you are breastfeeding, pay attention to whether the mother has an infection, and if there is a fungal infection, it also needs to be treated promptly.
