In addition, it is best to store internal and external medications separately to avoid confusion. (3) Drugs should be stored in dry, low temperature, cool, sealed and protected from light. Drugs that are susceptible to dampness and deterioration, such as dry yeast tablets (food mother raw), vitamin B1 tablets, aminophylline tablets, compound licorice tablets, medicinal charcoal, aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid tablets), belladonna tablets, etc., should be placed in airtight containers and covered tightly after use. Drugs that are easily decomposed by sunlight, such as vitamin C tablets, nitroglycerin tablets, metoclopramide tablets (gastrofacial, methotrexate), etc., should be kept in airtight brown bottles. Drugs that need to be kept at low temperature (2-10 degrees Celsius), such as rifampin eye drops, pepsin combination, lactase, insulin, polio pills, vaccines and other biological products, should be kept in the refrigerator’s freezer, never in the freezer.
