How does neuroleptic syndrome arise?

Neuroleptic syndrome is a cluster of neurasthenia-like symptoms caused by certain chronic somatic diseases. The causes of neurasthenia are environmental and intrinsic factors, mainly the weakening of the inhibition process within the cerebral cortex caused by various reasons.       Since there are no organic symptoms, patients should look for more psychological reasons: 1. Excessive tension in the function of the nervous system is a major cause of the disease. Survey data on neurasthenia in different occupational groups indicate that the highest prevalence is found in brain workers, of whom more than half of the patients reflect excessive tension at work or study, long working hours, excessive tasks and learning difficulties, all of which can lead to the occurrence of neurasthenia . 2, some of their own personality characteristics make some people become susceptible to neurasthenia, especially those who are particularly demanding, the pursuit of perfection in everything, the lack of pressure regulation ability is more likely to cause tension and fatigue, making the symptoms arise. 3, life is busy and disorderly, the disruption of work and rest patterns and sleep habits, as well as the lack of adequate rest, so that tension and fatigue are not restored, also for the susceptibility of neurasthenia factors. Since most of the neurasthenia is caused by psychological factors, the treatment should focus on the recognition, adaptation and lifting of psychological problems. Any medication can only temporarily relieve the symptoms, and cannot fundamentally relieve the patient’s pain, but make the symptoms keep relapsing and the problem is not solved.
