Squamous epithelial papilloma, is a benign tumor. However, this benign tumor may turn malignant, and the chance of transformation is relatively higher than that of other benign tumors. Papilloma is mainly formed by papilloma virus infection. There are many types of papilloma viruses, such as, type 1, type 6, type 11, type 19, and type 30. For different diseases, the infected viruses may be different, mainly type 6 and 11 in ENT, and other types such as type 30 and type 18 in OB/GYN. Therefore, if there is a squamous epithelial papilloma, it can be surgically removed and regular observation is basically sufficient and no other special treatment is needed. If there are other conditions, pathological examination should be done after the removal has been done to see the specific nature and then according to its nature, it should be treated accordingly. If it is a malignant disease, it will be treated according to the method of malignant disease.
