How to treat esophageal papilloma 0.3cm

Most of the 0.3 cm esophageal papillomas can be removed directly under gastroscopy, and they are usually fine after removal. The excised papilloma needs to be sent for pathological examination so as to further determine the benignity and malignancy of the tumor. If the pathology shows that the tumor is benign, no special treatment is needed. However, there are some pathologies that show malignancy, and further treatment is often needed, most of which require radical resection of esophageal cancer. Before resection, CT or ultrasound of the chest and upper abdomen should be reviewed to find out whether there are metastases in other areas and mediastinal lymph nodes.
