Glioma cancer cell starvation therapy

Glioma is the first malignant tumor of the brain, most commonly astrocytoma, and is classified as grade 1, 2, 3, 4 and glioblastoma according to the degree of malignancy. Among them, grade 4 and glioblastoma are the most malignant, and the median survival time is about 10-12 months. In Germany, “cancer cell starvation therapy” has been introduced to treat gliomas with high malignancy. Because glioma cells can only use glucose as a source of energy, the tumor is starved through a specially designed diet, combined with Chinese medicine techniques, exercise therapy and meditation. Currently, it has been used in Germany and the United States for the treatment of malignant gliomas with unexpected results, and there have been studies confirming that the ability of this therapy to control tumor growth and reduce tumor size is more effective than existing chemotherapy drugs. We are looking forward to the early release of another therapeutic technique after surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy for the benefit of glioma patients. Who are suitable for this treatment: Patients with glioma and glioblastoma with high malignancy, who cannot control the growth of tumor after surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy, or who cannot be treated surgically are suitable for this “cancer cell starvation therapy”.
