Pneumothorax can be classified as: a small amount of pneumothorax, which is less than 30% of the amount of pneumothorax; a medium amount of pneumothorax is 30%-70%; and a large amount of pneumothorax is more than 70% of the amount of pneumothorax. The significance of pneumothorax grading is that a small amount of pneumothorax is cured by conservative treatment, such as rest and oxygen for 1-2 weeks; for medium amount of pneumothorax and large amount of pneumothorax, thoracentesis and aspiration or closed drainage of the chest cavity are needed for treatment, and CT examination of the chest is also needed after pneumothorax reopening, and if a pulmonary blister is found, thoracoscopic wedge resection of pulmonary blister plus pleural fixation is needed to completely cure the pneumothorax. If a pneumothorax is found, thoracoscopic wedge resection with pleural fixation is required to completely cure the pneumothorax.
