1. Postoperatively, loosely bandage the wrist joint and restrict wrist movement for 2 days after surgery. 2. 2 days later, change the medication and instruct the patient to start functional exercises for the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand and fingers. 3. Three weeks after surgery, the wrist joint can be fixed in a neutral position at night with a brace. 4. The sutures were removed 12 to 14 days after surgery. 5. Return to work after 1 month with limited weight-bearing. 6. 6 to 8 weeks after surgery, full activity is resumed. While a small incision can certainly reduce postoperative pain and shorten the time to return to work, proper activity exercises and physical therapy in the early postoperative period are more important and have a more significant effect. Therefore, to shorten the recovery period, proper functional exercises should also be started early.
