Occult glomerulonephritis is, as the name implies, insidious and is one of the types of glomerulonephritis. It manifests clinically in three conditions. I. Simple proteinuria; II. Recurrent hematuria; III. Proteinuria plus hematuria. Patients with occult glomerulonephritis are not associated with hypertension or renal insufficiency, but changes in condition can occur and evolve into chronic nephritis. Throughout the course of occult glomerulonephritis patients are required to follow three major principles: First, regular review and observation of renal function, urinary routine, observation of changes in blood creatinine and blood pressure and urine protein. Second, it is also very important one to contraindicate the use of nephrotoxic drugs. Third, patients with occult glomerulonephritis should look for hidden foci of infection and remove them in time, only to ensure the stability of occult glomerulonephritis.
