The pain department mainly carries out the diagnosis and treatment of chronic pain diseases, mainly including headache, bone and joint pain, neuralgia, soft tissue pain, cancer pain and other related diseases. 1. Headache: Diseases causing headache mainly include migraine, cervicogenic headache, post-traumatic pain and so on. 2. Osteoarthralgia: diseases causing osteoarthralgia mainly include cervical spondylosis, lumbar disc herniation, degenerative osteoarthritis, knee osteoarthritis and so on. 3. Neuralgia: Neuralgia diseases mainly include trigeminal neuralgia, sciatica, herpes zoster, diabetic neuralgia and so on. 4. Soft tissue pain: soft tissue pain is mainly caused by lumbar sprain, lumbar muscle strain, lumbar dorsal fasciitis, fibromyalgia syndrome, tenosynovitis, frozen shoulder, soft tissue injury and so on. 5. Cancer pain: cancer pain is mainly caused by advanced malignant tumor. 6. Pain caused by no clear cause: sometimes patients will have pain with no clear cause, which can also be treated in pain department. If the patient has symptoms of pain and cannot identify the cause, he/she can consider visiting the pain department.
