How to treat ovarian function decline

Ovarian decline is when a woman is younger than 40 years old and is experiencing ovarian hypofunction as evidenced by abnormal menstruation, decreased estrogen levels or increased gonadotropic levels. Ovarian hypofunction in women is a gradual process that develops gradually. The cause of the disease is not yet clear, but is generally related to genetic factors and medical factors, mainly due to surgical injury or radiotherapy treatment that damages ovarian tissue. Autoimmune disorders can also cause ovarian function damage, and poor environment and poor lifestyle and hobbies can affect ovarian function. At present, the treatment of ovarian function decline is mainly based on hormone replacement therapy, generally choosing natural estrogen and progesterone supplementation therapy, and encouraging patients to continue treatment until after the average age of menopause, post-menopausal hormone supplementation therapy can also be considered. For women with declining ovarian function, the chances of developing osteoporotic cardiovascular disease are greatly increased, so the adverse effects of harmful factors should be reduced through a healthy lifestyle, by not engaging in weight-bearing exercise, avoiding smoking and maintaining a normal weight.
