Signs of recurrence after cervical cancer surgery

Signs of cervical cancer recurrence have relatively early clinical manifestations, depending on the site of recurrence. The signs include: 1) simple local recurrence, which is also called central recurrence, can be manifested as early cervical cancer manifestations, such as flowing water and fluid discharge, including bleeding after intercourse; 2) local combined infection, which can have certain odor; 3) pelvic recurrence, pelvic wall recurrence, or even combined with pelvic mass, which can show pain and soreness in the lumbosacral area; 4) tumor compressing the end of ureter, which can show back pain, or even hydronephrosis and renal insufficiency. Even the manifestation of hydronephrosis and renal insufficiency can appear; 5. The tumor develops further and at the advanced stage, all tumors can have common manifestations, including loss of appetite, patient wasting, anemia, cachexia, etc.
