Crohn’s disease is a kind of inflammatory bowel disease caused by unknown reasons. Inflammatory bowel disease includes Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, and the main clinical manifestations are abdominal pain, diarrhea, and even bloody stools, accompanied by extra-intestinal manifestations such as fever and nutritional disorders. The course of the disease is prolonged, recurrent and not easy to cure. The etiology of this disease is unknown, and may have some relationship with infection, humoral immunity and cellular immunity. Complications of this disease are common intestinal obstruction, occasionally see intra-abdominal abscess, malabsorption syndrome, acute perforation of massive blood in the stool. There is no special treatment for this disease. It is mainly treated with drugs and surgery. When Crohn’s disease is uncomplicated, supportive therapy and symptomatic treatment are very important to relieve the symptoms concerned. Pharmacological treatment can use aminosalicylic acid preparations (such as mesalazine, etc.), glucocorticoids (such as prednisone, etc.), immunosuppressants (such as mercaptopurine, etc.) and biological agents (such as infliximab, etc.). Surgery is used for complete intestinal obstruction, intestinal fistula with abscess formation, acute perforation or uncontrollable hemorrhage, and in patients where it is difficult to exclude cancer.
