The development of varicose veins is divided into stages 0-6 according to international standard staging, that is, seven stages: 1. In the first stage, patients with only symptoms and no signs develop soreness and discomfort after walking or after a longer period of time on the ground. 2. In the second stage, capillary dilation or reticular venous dilatation of the skin appears. 3. In the third stage, visible varicose veins appear, but there are no other complications. 4. In the fourth stage, there is edema as well as the varicose veins themselves.5. In the fifth stage, varicose veins appear along with a change in skin color, which is known as bruised dermatitis.6. In the sixth stage, healing of skin ulcers appears along with varicose veins.7. In the seventh stage, the veins and varicose veins are accompanied by ulcers that are now present on the skin.
