Anterior septal nerve block
Anterior septal nerve block consists of anterior septal nerve block and pterygoid nerve block. Anterior nerve block is an advanced international treatment for allergic rhinitis: under direct endoscopic view, the anterior septal nerve and pterygoid nerve are selectively cut with low-temperature plasma to reduce the excitability of the nasal parasympathetic nerve, improve the nasal ventilation function, and treat small polyps to eliminate their attacks. With the shedding of the pseudomembrane one week after surgery, the original diseased mucosa produces new repair and the healthy new mucosa has normal defense and barrier function. The clinical practice proves that the efficiency of the procedure is more than 95%. The procedure has low risk, low recurrence rate, and short treatment time, which can be achieved in ten minutes.
Technology Introduction
Sieve anterior nerve block is a new technology evolved from the U.S. Dornier low-temperature plasma ablation, which originated from the U.S. military’s high-energy military plasma technology, originally used mainly for research related to nuclear energy and cosmic charged particles. It is also known as “hairline technology” because its treatment warhead is only about 10 microns to 1 mm.
Anterior septal nerve block for rhinitis
The anterior septal nerve block selectively cuts the anterior septal nerve, pterygoid nerve and inferior turbinate nerve to reduce the excitability of the nasal parasympathetic nerve, improve the ventilation of the nasal cavity, eliminate small polyps and achieve the purpose of eliminating their attacks.
The ablation time of anterior septal nerve block is only about 20 minutes, and the symptoms of allergic rhinitis can be relieved within 24 hours after the operation, and will not recur after the operation, which can effectively treat allergic rhinitis.
Main treatment diseases
Allergic rhinitis, allergic rhinitis, seasonal allergic rhinitis, etc.
Working Principle
Allergic rhinitis is a type I allergic reaction. It is an abnormal physical reaction (allergic reaction) of the nasal mucosa to some specific substances (allergens), and this process is done through nerve conduction in the nasal cavity. The main one is the parasympathetic nerve. When this nerve is excited, the secretion of glands in the nasal cavity increases and the mucous membrane becomes edematous. The patient’s clinical manifestations are nasal itching, sneezing, nasal discharge, nasal congestion, headache, and decreased sense of smell.
At the beginning of the operation, the patient is semi-recumbent on the operating table, and the nasal cavity is anesthetized with 1% dicaine epinephrine and 1% lidocaine nerve block. Five minutes later, the operation begins, and the electrode tip of the microwave is placed on the area where the anterior septal nerve and the pterygoid nerve are concentrated for blocking under direct nasal endoscopic view, with the energy set at 30 watts. After ten minutes, the operation is completed and there is no bleeding or pain at the surgical site. The symptoms will worsen in the first one or two days after the operation, which is a normal phenomenon.
Technical advantages
Minimally invasive and painless: minimally invasive technology, no need for incision, the whole treatment process is almost painless for the patient.
Short treatment time: the treatment process takes only about 20 minutes, which greatly reduces the patient’s pain.
Full cure after the operation: the effect can be seen within 48 hours, and the ideal effect can be achieved within a week to realize the cure of allergic rhinitis.
Zero error in treatment: the technology is combined with nasal endoscopic equipment that can magnify the lesion 500 times, so the treatment is precise and error-free.
Treatment zero dead space: precise spot treatment of lesioned tissues, 360° complete removal of lesioned tissues without residue and recurrence.
Treatment zero recurrence: complete removal of lesion tissue, treatment process using disposable warheads to prevent disease infection and eliminate the possibility of recurrence.
High safety: compared with traditional laser and microwave treatment, the technology is treated in a working environment of 40°-70°, which greatly ensures that healthy tissues are not harmed and safety is guaranteed.
No side effects: adopting the principle of low-temperature ablation, it does not damage the healthy tissue of the nasal cavity, without any toxicity or side effects.
