What is minimally invasive intervention for hepatic hemangioma

Hepatic hemangioma interventional approach is a minimally invasive therapeutic technique in vascular surgery, which is performed by catheterization technique, with the help of imaging technology cannulated to the target vessel of the hepatic hemangioma for embolization.
Minimally invasive mediated surgery is usually applied to hepatic hemangioma. The surgery starts with making several small holes in the corresponding locations in the abdomen, and then special laparoscopic operating instruments are inserted through the small holes.
Besides, the treatment can also be carried out by using interventional embolization or ablation. Interventional embolization is to embolize the blood supplying artery of the hemangioma, so that the hemangioma can be shrunk slowly; while ablation is to release electric current at specific locations in the liver, so that the diseased tissues can be coagulated and necrotic.
