What are the issues to look for in an infant with fall diarrhea?

Now is the season of autumn diarrhea, and there are many infants with diarrhea in the clinic. Autumn diarrhea is characterized by diarrhea that occurs in the autumn and winter seasons, and is more common in infants and young children. In severe cases of diarrhea, dehydration occurs, manifested by sunken eye sockets and fontanelle, little urination, thirst for drinking, as well as acid-base imbalance and electrolyte disturbances in the body, such as hyponatremia, hypokalemia and metabolic acidosis, all of which can occur if the degree of dehydration is severe. Parents with this condition are advised to take their children to the hospital for rehydration. Untreated disease progression can lead to shock and death.
