Prostate diseases generally refer to prostatitis, prostate hyperplasia, prostate cancer, etc., and need to go to the urology department or male department.
If the patient has frequent urination, urinary urgency, urinary pain, perineal pain, urethral dribbling and other phenomena, it is mostly suggestive of prostatitis. If the patient has frequent urination, difficulty in urination, urinary retention and other phenomena, most of the consideration for prostate hyperplasia. However, if the patient has abnormal urination, semen with blood, pelvic region pain and other phenomena, we need to be vigilant, may be due to prostate cancer.
Regardless of the type of prostate disease, the first diagnosis should be made in the Department of Urology or the Department of Men’s Diseases, and the relevant examinations (such as fingerprinting, blood tests, semen tests, imaging tests, endoscopy, etc.) should be completed in accordance with the doctor’s instructions, and, if necessary, the patient may be referred to the Department of Oncology.
