Due to their growth and developmental characteristics, children need glasses to correct many eye diseases. Therefore, eyeglasses are not simply a commodity in the traditional sense, but a special medical tool that plays an important therapeutic role, such as for the correction of refractive abnormalities, strabismus, amblyopia and a variety of refractive eye diseases. Different cases have different principles of correction, children’s eyeglasses fitting mostly need dilated pupil optometry (determination of static refraction), accurate qualitative and quantitative, discretionary prescription, reasonable choice, timely replacement.
