What to do about infant facial capillary hemangiomas

Infantile facial capillary hemangioma is considered to be caused by congenital developmental abnormality, and it is recommended to consult doctor in time for follow-up observation, medication and laser treatment.
1. Follow-up observation: the type of capillary hemangioma should be evaluated by the doctor after consulting the doctor. For the capillary hemangioma without obvious growth trend and some of the capillary hemangiomas that can subside on their own, such as strawberry capillary hemangioma, regular follow-up can be performed according to the doctor’s instruction.
2. Drug therapy: propranolol can be used under the guidance of doctor to inhibit cell proliferation, and also can inhibit vascular endothelial cell growth factor to a certain extent.
3. Laser treatment: If the area of capillary hemangioma increases progressively and the color deepens, leading to facial deformation, it can be evaluated by pediatrician or dermatologist and then laser treatment can be carried out.
If parents find capillary hemangioma on the face of infants, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time for formal diagnosis and treatment.
