The incubation period of novel coronavirus pneumonia is generally 3-7 days, with the majority of patients having a maximum incubation period of no more than 14 days. During the incubation period of the disease, patients may have no obvious symptoms, but they are also contagious. Most patients will have fever, malaise, and dry cough after the disease, and a few patients have diarrhea, nasal congestion, and runny nose. The diagnosis of novel coronary pneumonia can only be confirmed by combining epidemiological history, imaging reports, blood, pharyngeal swabs and nucleic acid test results of respiratory secretions.
