Folliculitis is caused by a bacterial infection and presents as a follicular red papule with a pustular surface that may be painful. Condyloma acuminatum is caused by human papillomavirus infection. It usually has no conscious symptoms and appears as small papules with a milky, pink or skin-colored sharp surface.
