It’s not easy to say Tips, but it’s not easy to really do it. Acceptance of “normal” weight There is a mental condition called “body image disorder”, many friends suffering from anorexia suffer from this, obviously already very thin, but look in the mirror still think they are fat. This unreliable concept is like a shackle in the brain, so that we dare not accept the “normal” weight. Acceptance of “normal” food “eating makes me fat”, “food is my best friend”, whether it is anorexia or bulimia, this irrational concept is always in the shadow. Neither hunger nor overfullness is a good experience. Food is our good friend, but not our only friend. Trust our body, it will tell us when we need to eat, enjoy food and enjoy life. Recognize your own value Many people who suffer from eating disorders have no problems on the surface and are even the “backbone of the elite”. But deep down, they may lack a sense of identity for themselves. Know that what you are doing is meaningful and that you don’t have to measure your worth through the narrow lens of “weight”. Go have fun. Watch movies, keep a journal, listen to music, travel, party, anything you can think of, go have fun. On the one hand, relax yourself and enjoy your body and mind, from the “anorexia” “gluttony” out, to find their real interests; secondly, the “overeating” impulse when this is very effective! Eh ~ spend time with parents and friends This may not seem to have anything to do with “anorexia” “bulimia”, but a good social support system can help us get through it. Feel the love of family and friends, trust them, spend time with them and tell them about our struggles, it may be useful. Take the time to understand eating disorders, the phenomenon and mechanism behind them, what we have to do to overcome them, stories of success in overcoming eating disorders, and even to help our friends who are also suffering from eating disorders.
