Lung adenocarcinoma is a common type of lung cancer pathology in clinical practice, and there are obvious individualized differences in how long one can live in the late stage. Patients with advanced stage lung adenocarcinoma, if treated with aggressive treatments, including radiotherapy, chemotherapy, targeted drug therapy, etc., the survival time can be significantly prolonged, and some patients can survive up to 5 years or even longer. However, if a patient has developed to an advanced stage without effective treatment, the survival period may only be about 3-6 months. If it has developed to the most advanced stage and the cancer cells have spread and metastasized and combined with multiple complications, the patient’s survival period may only be 1-3 months. Therefore, early detection, diagnosis and treatment are crucial to prolong the survival time and improve the quality of life of lung cancer patients. It is recommended that people over 40 years of age should undergo relevant physical examinations every year.
