Huanglian and Agaricus Chicken Zi Huang Soup is effective for patients with men’s diseases who suffer from heart and kidney dysfunction (heart fire and kidney yin deficiency, dysfunction of the physiological functions of the heart and kidneys) resulting in heartburn and insomnia, but it does not cure men’s diseases. Huanglian and Colla Corii Asini Chicken Zi Huang Soup is composed of Huanglian, Bai Shao, Colla Corii Asini and egg yolk, which has the efficacy of nurturing yin and clearing heat, nourishing blood and tranquilizing the mind, and is used for heart and kidney dysfunction caused by deficiency of kidney yin in the lower part of the body and hyperactivity of heart fire in the upper part of the body, disturbed heart and kidneys, disturbed sleeplessness (disturbed heat in the heart and insomnia), as well as insomnia due to injury to the fluid in heat diseases and loss of blood. The adverse effects and contraindications of this drug are not clear. Huanglian and Agaricus Chicken Zi Huang Tang is effective in treating heartburn and insomnia caused by heart and kidney disorders, but it does not cure male diseases. If there is a need for medication, it is recommended that it be used under the guidance of a professional physician, and not blindly self-medication.
