Why does gout hurt so much at night?

Gout is particularly painful at night, mainly due to the lowered temperature at night thus affecting gout. Gout is a metabolic rheumatism, and the biochemical basis for its clinical development is hyperuricemia, and there are many factors that affect the formation of uric acid crystals, including the concentration of uric acid, temperature, and the speed of blood flow. The most common manifestation of gout is swelling and pain in the first metatarsophalangeal joint, mainly because the first metatarsophalangeal joint has the lowest temperature, resulting in the slowest blood flow, so gout patients most often have swelling and pain in the first metatarsophalangeal joint. Since temperature affects gout, the pain caused by gout is more intense when the temperature drops at night.
