Why is it that cervical cancer is preventable and curable? First, the cause is clear, and the oncogenic virus is caused by human papillomavirus (HPV), the only fully identifiable oncogenic virus in human carcinogenesis. Secondly, careful screening and follow-up can prevent it. Thirdly, early diagnosis can be curative. I. Importance of cervical cancer screening: 1. The anatomical characteristics of the cervix are easy to be exposed for observation, palpation and sampling. 2. There are tests to check and identify HPV. Without HPV infection, cervical cancer will not occur. It is the persistent infection with HPV high-risk virus that cervical precancer and cervical cancer will occur, and the occurrence of cervical cancer can be curbed by examining and treating for the cause. 3. It takes a long time for the disease to evolve, from cervical infection with HPV virus to cervical precancerous lesion to final cervical cancer, which takes about 10 years, and the precancerous lesion has the possibility of developing in both directions. This stage cannot be ignored, timely diagnosis and correct treatment are the key to prevent and cure cervical cancer. 4.For different stages of cervical lesions, there are standardized treatment procedures, which enable early detection and diagnosis of cervical precancerous lesions and early cervical cancer, prevent the occurrence of cervical cancer and control the further development of cervical cancer. Who are prone to cervical cancer (cervical cancer high-risk group): 1.People with multiple sexual partners or sexual partners with multiple sexual partners; 2.People who have early sexual intercourse; 3.People whose sexual partners have cervical cancer; 4.People who have had or are having HPV infection in the reproductive tract; 5.People who have human immunodeficiency virus infection; 6.People who have other sexually transmitted diseases: 7.People who are receiving immunosuppressive therapy; 8. Smokers and drug addicts; 9. Those who have a history of cervical lesions, cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, vaginal cancer or vulvar cancer.
