How long can you live with blood cancer?

Survival of a patient with blood cancer depends on the type of blood cancer the patient has and the type of treatment taken.

Blood cancers, also known as leukemia, are divided into acute leukemia and chronic leukemia. If patients with acute leukemia do not undergo effective treatment, their survival period is usually a few months, mostly not more than six months; if they undergo chemotherapy and targeted therapy, more patients can achieve clinical remission, and about 20-30% of them can even survive for more than 10 years without relapse; if they are eligible for bone marrow transplantation, their survival time will be longer. Patients with chronic leukemia develop relatively slowly, but can develop into acute leukemia, and the disease is prone to recurrence.

Patients diagnosed with blood cancer should keep a good attitude and take reasonable and effective treatment early, which can effectively control the disease.
