What kind of kidney disease needs dialysis

Kidney disease requiring dialysis is mainly seen in the following cases: First, for patients with chronic renal failure reaching the uremic phase, dialysis treatment can be considered. The uremic phase mainly refers to patients with blood creatinine greater than 707umol/L or endogenous creatinine clearance less than 15ml/min or less. Second, often seen in acute renal failure, especially acute renal failure accompanied by oliguria or even anuria, progressive increase of blood creatinine, can be treated with dialysis. Third, if the kidney disease is accompanied by serious internal environmental disorders, such as high blood potassium greater than 6.5mmol/L or severe metabolic acidosis, for example, pH less than 7.15, dialysis treatment can be considered.
