Medical personnel in China have discovered a new method for liver cancer diagnosis, which requires only 1 ml of blood to be drawn and has an accuracy rate of about 90% for liver cancer less than 2 cm, and the cost of the detection technology is only about 100 yuan. And early stage liver cancer less than 2 centimeters can often be cured radically by resection and radiofrequency ablation, with a 5-year survival rate higher than 90 percent. The research results were published by the American Journal of Clinical Oncology with an editor’s note. This achievement is currently under patent application in China, US, Japan and EU.
