What should I do if I have a facial tumor?

Pemphigoid, also known as “sebaceous cyst”, is formed when the sebaceous ducts become blocked and secretions are retained and accumulate, resulting in the gradual enlargement of the gland. It is the most common type of epithelial cyst on the body surface. It can occur at any age and in any part of the body, but it is more common in young people and on the head and face where the sebaceous glands secrete abundantly. They are mostly solitary or multiple, and are located in the superficial layer of the skin in a circular shape partially expanded on the skin surface. The skin on the surface of the cyst is weakened by the gradual compression of the growing mass, smooth and shiny, and cannot be pushed because the skin is connected to the cyst by the ducts of the glands, and the central part is occasionally seen as an umbilical recessed niche, which is the opening of the ducts. Small cysts with a few black scabs blocking the duct opening are called blackhead pimples. The swelling is smooth, soft or slightly tense, and has no fluctuating sensation. Although adherent to the superficial skin, the base is mobile. The treatment of sebaceous cysts is based on the principle of complete removal, although cancer can also occur but is extremely rare. There is no need to be afraid of surgery for fear of leaving obvious scars on the face, as the surgery causes minimal damage and does not require hospitalization. If the face is small enough to be observed after the growth of a pink tumor, it rarely disappears spontaneously. The following points should be avoided during the observation period: 1. If the cyst wall still exists, recurrence is inevitable. The key is that the squeeze is prone to infection, and once the infection is treated, it will become more complicated and the scar left behind will be more obvious. 2. Secondly, avoid using Chinese medicine for external application. The result of external application of Chinese medicine is to make it ulcerate, which will eventually leave an obvious scar. 3. If there is an infection, it is advisable to treat it with surgery as soon as possible. Many doctors and even textbooks believe that once an infection occurs, the infection should be treated first and then operated on after the infection has subsided. In fact, the contents of infected sebaceous cysts are generally more, if the contents are not completely removed, then the best antibiotics will not cure the infection, because the anti-infection not only increases the course of treatment and costs, and will also leave a significant scar after the rupture, on the contrary, early surgical removal can be a majority of a phase of healing, and the scar left behind is not a star.
