How long can you live with gout at age 27?

The life expectancy of a 27-year-old gout patient is related to treatment and diet, and cannot be generalized. Gout is a common metabolic disease, prevalent in men, mainly caused by abnormal purine metabolism leading to increased uric acid in the body, and patients often show symptoms of gouty arthritis. Patients should be actively treated with uric acid reduction after diagnosis. If the uric acid level is normal, the joint symptoms can be controlled to maintain a normal life, and the survival time is not significantly different from that of normal people; if not treated in time, gout stones can appear in the joints, affecting the quality of life of patients and also easy to complicate kidney disease, or even kidney failure, endangering the lives of patients. Therefore, it is recommended that gout patients should minimize the consumption of purine-rich foods such as animal offal and seafood, and that they should not drink alcohol because alcohol can cause an increase in uric acid, and drink more water to promote excretion.
