What should I pay attention to when I have “acne”?

”Acne”, medically called acne, is named because it occurs in adolescence and most people have suffered from it at one time or another. Acne includes many different types of lesions, whiteheads, blackheads, papules, pustules, nodules, and cysts. When acne is found on the face, the first thing to do is to avoid stimulation by squeezing with your hands. Some people will subconsciously squeeze and pinch the acne on their face with their hands, which is very easy to squeeze the inflammatory material into the dermis, leaving scarring and pits on the face. If you have acne, you should pay attention to the diet and try to eat less or not to eat these foods: greasy and fried foods, such as fried chicken, French fries and chips, fatty meats, etc.; sweets, such as candy, cakes and snacks, drinks, etc.; spicy foods, such as chili peppers and curry-type foods; some people should drink less strong tea and coffee, and eat less hot foods such as mutton. Some foods can be eaten more appropriately: for example, barley, red beans, winter melon, yam, etc. When you have acne, you should pay attention to sleep and rest. Adequate sleep is very important for the repair of the skin. Do not face the computer for a long time. Although there is no confirmation of experimental research, it has been found in clinical work that many acne patients face the computer for a long time every day for work or games. Patients with mild acne can heal on their own. Patients with severe and recurring flare-ups are better off going to the hospital. If scarring is left behind due to improper treatment, the risk of further treatment increases.
