How many days after menstruation can you test for pregnancy?

For women with regular menstrual cycles, pregnancy can usually be detected around 7-10 days after the menstrual period is delayed. A typical clinical feature of pregnancy is menopause. The follicle is fertilized and a fertilized egg is formed, which settles in the endometrium, becomes pregnant, and the organism then enters the pregnancy phase without endometrial exfoliation and bleeding. For women with regular menstrual cycles, i.e., one period in 28-30 days, with normal ovarian and endocrine function, pregnancy can usually be detected by urine pregnancy test after about 7-10 days of delayed menstruation. As for women with irregular menstrual cycle, if pregnancy is not detected according to the above mentioned time frame, it is recommended to check around 7-10 more days or go to the hospital for blood HCG test to clarify if pregnancy is present. For women with early pregnancy, an ultrasound is recommended at 35 days of menopause to clarify whether there is a gestational sac in the uterus to rule out ectopic pregnancy.
