LEEP is one of the most effective treatments for CIN 2-3. As with most gynecological procedures, LEEP also needs to be performed within 3-7 days of menstruation, and the procedure takes 3-5 minutes with local anesthesia and is not significantly painful, and you can go home the same day after the procedure, with pathology results returned 1 week later. The relevant preoperative laboratory tests include: routine blood and urine tests, HBsAg, syphilis and HIV screening tests, and pelvic ultrasound.
