Self-testing methods for liver cancer

There is no self-testing method for liver cancer. The disease usually occurs in middle-aged men, and most of them have insidious onset and no typical characteristics in early stage, so it is not easy for patients to detect. When patients discover some of the symptoms, it usually means that liver cancer has already entered the middle and late stage. The clinical manifestations at this time usually include pain in the liver area, liver enlargement, jaundice, cirrhosis, and systemic symptoms such as wasting, fever, weakness and malnutrition. Metastasis to the chest, lymph nodes, lungs, bones, brain and other parts of the body may also cause complications. To diagnose liver cancer, doctors need to combine imaging, laboratory tests and clinical symptoms to make judgment. Relevant tests such as fetoprotein, other liver cancer markers, ultrasound, enhanced CT, angiography and liver aspiration biopsy are required. Therefore, regarding the self-test of liver cancer, there is no method in the early stage and the relevant self-test methods circulated often have no scientific basis. Liver cancer is usually caused by viral hepatitis, aflatoxin, pulmonary fibrosis, as well as long-term exposure to chemicals such as organophosphorus pesticides and long-term drinking of sewage. Patients are advised to maintain an optimistic mental state in life, avoid overworking, improve poor lifestyle or habits, avoid smoking and alcohol. Do not eat moldy food, eat less cured meat, etc. Exercise appropriately to improve the resistance of the body.
