Is urine occult blood but no urine protein is nephritis

Urine routine only indicates urine occult blood but no urine protein may also be a clinical manifestation of glomerulonephritis. The main nephritic diseases that can manifest as simple hematuria are thin basement membrane nephropathy, IgA nephropathy, allergic purpura nephritis, early stage of Αlport syndrome, etc. At the same time, it is necessary to make a differential diagnosis with the following diseases that can form hematuria, such as kidney stones, kidney tumors, urinary tract infection, prostatic hyperplasia, urinary tract injury, endometriosis, thrombocytopenia, bleeding disorders, or patients on cyclophosphamide drugs. Some healthy people may also have transient hematuria after strenuous exercise, so further examination of urine red blood cell morphology is needed. When urine red blood cell morphology suggests non-homogeneity, glomerulonephritis is considered more likely, and when it suggests homogeneity, other surgical factors that can cause hematuria are considered.
