There is no one type of Di Huang Pill that can be taken to treat symptoms caused by Kidney Yin deficiency plus Kidney Yang deficiency. If symptoms of both Kidney-Yin deficiency and Kidney-Yang deficiency are present, you can take a Chinese herbal tonic with the main formula of Di Huang Yin Zi (地黄引子), which is subject to additions and subtractions. Kidney yin deficiency and kidney yang deficiency are often caused by physical deficiency, or prolonged or serious illnesses that deplete kidney yin and kidney yang, resulting in mutual loss of yin and yang and the onset of the disease. It manifests as lumbago and pain, dizziness and tinnitus, spermatorrhea and premature ejaculation in men, and scanty menstruation in women. The treatment is to nourish kidney yin and tonify kidney yang. Di Huang Drink is a tonic. It is composed of Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, Radix Morinda Citrifoliae, Cornus Officinalis, Dendrobium, Herba Cistanches, Radix Polygoni Multiflori, Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis, Fructus Schisandrae chinensis and Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis, which are good for nourishing kidney yin and tonifying kidney yang, and opening up the orifices for phlegm. The combination of all the herbs can work together to nourish yin and yang, resolve phlegm and open the orifices (opening the orifices of the heart and restoring the mind by removing phlegm and evil).
