Is microcephaly hereditary?

Microcephaly, also known as spinal microcephaly, is a family-dominant genetic neurological disorder, so microcephaly is inherited. If one of the parents has the disease, for example, there is a 50% chance that the child will inherit the disease and develop it. After the onset of the disease, these patients walk with a wobbly movement, just like penguins, so families with this disease are called penguin families. The disease can be divided into three stages. In the first stage, the initial manifestation is walking as if drunk, uncoordinated movement up and down stairs, and swaying back and forth when standing. The second stage, the middle stage, is the inability to control support and gait, and walking like a penguin. In the third stage, in the late stage, there is a language disorder, inability to control intonation or even speak, and inability to recognize when writing.
