Contact bleeding occurs mainly due to lesions of the cervix, and in terms of treatment, the treatment varies from one cause to another. In case of contact bleeding caused by cervical polyps, the routine leucorrhea test should be done without intercourse for 3-7 days after menstruation. If there is no inflammation, excision of cervical polyps can be done and the polyps will be sent for pathological tests. If contact bleeding is caused by cervical epithelial lesions, physical therapy or conical excision of the cervix is required. If the contact bleeding is caused by cervical cancer, a total hysterectomy is clinically indicated. Therefore, the treatment for different types of contact bleeding is different, and the cause must be found before treatment.
